Hey Mark..I was one of Dee's best friends. We spent lots of Fri nites falling in love with the Beatles. Miss her so much. Moved from Ashland in my sophomore year at PBHS to Louisville. Are you related to Rick Fosson? I dated him for quite awhile. We were gonna do something stupid like elope on prom nite but I moved.Love your music and I love Prine. Ciao...

I was told about your Web Page tonight at Church and decided to check it out. I love your song "Jesus on a GreyHound". Every thought about coming back to Ashland and doing a show at the Paramount Arts Theather? You would be a "HIT". I also read about you in the Daily Independent earlier this summer. Hope you do really well. God Bless you!

Hey Mark...loved your Lost Takoma album...I also suffered the same fate...Fahey was contemplating releasing my album "Ragtime Ralph Volume 4" on Takoma...but that never gelled...so I released it myself all those many years ago! Your album is right up there with Fahey/Kottke/Lang/Basho/Gerlach/Gulezian/Engelhardt...well done! Yours sincerely, RC Johnston...PS...I hope you sell millions of copies!

Hey, Mark,
My KY girlfriends sent me your info. PBHS, Ashland, Class of 68. Evidently they "found" you in planning our upcoming high school reunion. I love Fahey music, and will purchase the 2 cd's you offer. Great to learn of your talent and your success!

June 29, 2007

Well, I have not listenend to your music yet because I just found this site. I am impressed. I really thought when we were in Jr. High School with Mr. Taylor that you would become a cartoonist by trade. The cartoons you drew of Mr.Taylor were Great, so I guess you took all that talent and put it into writing, composing and singing. I was also glad to see that you are headed "this" way next year. Back to your "roots". But be sure to save Labor Day weekend 2008 for your class reunion, ok? Hope to see you then. I wish you the Best. I will be sure to buy a CD. Your old Friend, Vickie

I just re-connected with Ed Tree & in the course of googling I ran across your site. You tried to use me on bass back in the late 70's but I didn't click as I was doing the pop thing. It's interesting to re-visit your music after all these years & careers. I get it now. I grew up with Keith Stegall & spent much of my musical journey with Brent Mason. I was even signed in Nashville at CBS when Guy Clark was a regular around the "shop'. Anyway, I'm enjoying your music and was inspired to say hey. Ed Tree's one of my most favorite friends.
all the best
